"I've really loved the Rhubarb shade with SPF for the last year or two (one tube goes a long way). I was excited to repurchase it, but when I did, I found that the colour is visibly lighter now and it no longer suits me like it used to. (In my photo, the old formula is on the left and the new is on the right. ) Lanolips is still my most trusted lip brand, so I might have to try their tinted ointment or something instead."

"I'm a die hard lanolips fan! I was so excited to try it but sadly it's not for me. I now understand that "rhubarb" is the shade and not the scent. It's smells of plastic and spf. 3 stars because it's still so hydrating . . . The colour is so sheer it's barely there, which I guess may suit some. The smell is just too unpleasant and overpowering."

"I’ve struggled with other lip balms that have sunscreen in the past as I’ve disliked how they’ve felt on my lips. This feels just as good (i. e. lovely!) as the other Lanolips lip balms. It doesn’t even feel like a sunscreen! I was expecting the tint (Rhubarb) to be a little bit more noticeable. This is very subtle, a ‘your lips but better’ colour. It has a light vanilla fragrance - if you’ve tried the overnight lip balm it’s quite similar. I will definitely be wearing this on a regular basis now we’re getting some sun in the UK, and intend to buy the other colours!"
