Not for me. Greasy yet not moisturising enough.
While I just love the Lemonade lip treatment, the ointment literally burnt my lips, so unfortunately I won’t be using it again. But as I said the lip treatment is amazing!!
I’ve been using the A
apple balm for years (probably about 7) and I loveeee it. However I recently ordered more from Adore Beauty (official stockist) and it smelt really chemically and off. It was honestly so bad; my friends tried it too and nobody could wipe it off fast enough.
So I decided to go straight to the source and order from here and what do you know, I had the exact same issue. I contacted Lanolips and they advised they couldn’t source the scent the normally use for it so has to use an alternative. I honestly don’t see how anyone that has bought this recently could stomach the smell- it’s so crazy to actually think they intentionally manufactured a product that smells that way. PLEASE bring back the original formula, or at least, do something to stop it smelling like off, rancid apples mixed with a good glug of nasty smelling chemicals. 😬
Extremely happy with purchase a thick lip balm for those cracked dry lips or anything.
This is a concentrated product, so a little goes a long way. This may be the problem faced by Misha in her review: she may have used too much, assuming this was a typical drugstore lippie. You need less of this product, but is moisturizes and protects everything it touches - lips, cuticles, little dry patches - better than anything else I’ve tried. I’ve tried all but the pear, which is not available in the US, and enjoy them all.
