101 Ointment Multi-Balm Vanilla

I love these balms! My new favourites

I love this product. When I first apply it and smack my lips together it tastes like a delicious vanilla slice to me. The flavour is subtle and after a while I forget it’s there, but just smack my lips together again and that vanilla slice returns.
The texture is beautifully smooth. I usually use it during the day, but at times also overnight. On awakening my lips are nice and smooth, with a trace of the silky smooth vanilla still there.

Texture is slightly differs from normal Lanolips ointment one, it's thinner and more liquidy, absorbs quicker and less nourishing in my opinion. Flavour is OK, creamy vanilla, but pretty weak and has a bit of plasticky aftertaste.

I wanted to love this, I've been WAITING for them to do a vanilla one for ages, but other reviews are right that it's extremely lightly scented/flavored compared to their other 101 ointments. It even has a very slight bitter aftertaste. I can see the sense in a lightly scented one for people who prefer more natural balms, but as a vanilla fan I'm a little disappointed.

Lanolips is the only thing that's making having a dental brace tolerable. It's an almighty lip balm and is keeping me sane. The variety of flavours is an added joy!
