Hyaluronic Lip Oil Honey

Listen, I am a life long Lanolips lover, I am your biggest fan! But I don't love this lip oil. When it comes to the component, for some reason all the product is only on the applicator wand, none of it is on the actual doe foot applicator. So its a bit of a miss there. As well, the product doesn't last more than 10 minutes on my lips before its disappeared :( So I will stick with my 101 Lip ointments as they last for hours, and honestly are glosser than ever on my lips! I would love a honey flavored 101 Ointment though <3

Let me clarify: when I saw that this product was available, I ordered it. In the meantime, I learned that Lanolips sent me complimentary lip oils in both raspberry and honey to try and review.  Therefore, while the lip oils were provided to me by Lanolips, I also purchased them independently.  I was wondering if I should gift my extra purchase to someone - but after I tried them, they are all mine! 

This is like no other lip oil I have tried, regardless of the price point. I find that most lip oils have one of three textures:  thin and greasy; thin and watery; or thick and goopy. For me, all of these iterations disappear almost upon application, and provide no long-term moisture benefit. This is the first lip oil that does not feel like I ate something greasy, and yet is neither goopy nor watery. The texture is lovely:  it is lighter feeling on the lips than the Lanolips 101 Ointments or the Lip Water, yet it stays on the lips a considerable time. Both the raspberry and the honey make my lips look healthy and plump: the raspberry is a sheer "your lips but better" pink, and the honey is a perfect golden shimmer. I can certainly note the difference with the hyaluronic acid in this formula, both when I am wearing it, and afterwards. The fragrances are light and natural, and certainly not overpowering. There is no stinging or burning, and by the time I choose to reapply, there is no rebound dryness. The applicator is a chubby little wand, and I think it helps apply the perfect amount of product - you don't have to keep dipping into the container to get more product, because that cushiony and chubby wand will get the job done. 

I appreciate that these products are clean and safe to use. As a cancer survivor, I carefully watch the ingredients and quality of the products I use. I have long been a fan of Lanolips, and feel good using their products. In fact, their Golden Dry Skin Miracle Salve saved my skin during radiation treatment.

This is literally the gold standard for lip oil, and I am so glad that I received this as a gift to review - and even happier that I ordered it independently and now have twice as much to enjoy.

It’s moisturizing, but it’s barely a lip oil because it’s mostly solidified in the bottle. You barely get any oil on the applicator when you pull it out. Doesn’t look like how it’s advertised.

OMG what a beautiful new product to add to the already amazing range. Feels luscious on your lips and the applicator is soft and velvety.
Works really well in the Pilbara weather and keeps my lips nourished.
Honey was nice, I prefer the raspberry scent.
