It’s thick, it lasts, it’s a beautiful bronze. I love it!
This is such a lovely lip colour. Took a bit of squeezing to get it to come out at first but now it's great. I will buy the other colours now :)
I really love the color of this Bronze Gold 101 ointment, and it's so great on my lips and cheeks for fabulous color, but also for the all-important moisture. Lano's products help me to feel like I'm living the meme--unbothered, moisturized, staying in my lane, flourishing, haha!
I bought all three colors: bronze gold, baby rose gold, and rose gold, and they are all lovely. I hate wearing lipstick in the winter because my lips get so dry with the winter air. These are so moisturizing and the tint they give are just beautiful. The shimmer is so flattering and makes my lips look fuller. The formula is thick, so you only need a tiny bit. The tubes may be small but they will last a long time. These have become my new daily wear favorites.
As much as I love Lanolips I dont think I quite loved this product as much as all the other products and ranges I have tried. This product was extremely thick - nothing like the 101 ointment which is very true in texture to a regular ointment. The Bronze Gold was very thick and wouldnt come out of the tube. The next day I left the taube in the sun for a while to perhaps (melt??) it and some did come out but it was extremely thick in texture. Moreover, it was a bit gritty/grainy and not very smooth like the 101 ointment. I think it was good in concept but the addition of pigment and shimmer has completely changed the integrity of an ointment.
2 stars - a good concept but very hard to use.
I applied it to my cheeks as a shimmer and for some colour. It felt very sticky on my face and I wouldnt reuse it for my cheeks. I also used it on my lips which was okay but didnt like the gritty texture and feeling. I like how with the regular ointment I can apply it anywhere (e.g. dry elbows) but this one feels very limited to only applying it to my lips.
I have very dry and dehydrated skin so I still tend to keep to the 101 ointment or golden salve when its very bad.
3/5 - whilst it was hydrating perhaps that grainy feeling detracted from how much hydration I was actually receiving.
